in the Union Army and Navy.
Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, 1861-1865 (DUVCW) was founded on May 30, 1885 by and for women who are direct descendants of Union veterans who fought
for the preservation of
our Nation during the American Civil War.
We are the oldest and
largest U.S. Civil War women's organization genealogically based
on lineal descent.
